Puzzle

I am not a seeker for
The missing piece
Things that were ever needed
To complete me have long
Lain inside

Irregular, vivid, malleable fragments

Are strewn across my heart

This is from where my personality comes
Even when it becomes catastrophic
Even when it calls for some rearranging

Rearranging

By somebody            And

I want that somebody

To be you

    1. He has been… I hope he does this one, too. He is a lot more accomplished than I am. Thank you, Sundaram, and what are you talking about, your girl has a writer for a partner herself. 🙂

  6. So I have been wondering where you were, since I never see you in my feed anymore. Then I found this site by a backlink, which I was not following. Ah, corrected now, and found nice work here!

    1. I deleted my other blog. I know. It was a long and hard decision. But I exported my content to another site Melbourne Arts Review which does not reside on WordPress. So I started to follow the few friends from my old home through this blog so we could still keep in touch. Friends too precious to forgo. Thanks, Norbert, for being here.

    1. Thanks. Hmm…but I’m not sure this particular poem was meant to be transportive. Are you sure you read it?

      1. ☺ Thought I’d confuse you with that a little. That one is more of a direct conversation, but I can still see it taking place in my mind

        1. Okay… although I still don’t think you read it. 🙂

  8. Oh God, Sweet, Beautiful Vera. You just brought tears to my eyes. This is beyond lovely!!! It’s truly fun being this behind because while playing catchup on Your site I’m getting an ample dose of Your poetry/words in one session. A great read/book/hunk of YES! ❤️❤️❤️
