Fear

Fear of not sleeping at night
Fear of sleeping
Fear of the same man who loiters in the quiet basement carpark where I put my car
Fear of the sound of breaking-glass in the dead of night
Fear of having to book an emergency flight home
Fear of snakes in the toilet-bowl
Fear of happiness that cannot last
Fear of guilt
Fear of life of the future
Fear of ghosts of the past
Fear of silence
Fear of the absence of silence
Fear of not loving enough
Fear of loving too much
Fear of having no income and fear of having one that is excessively large
Fear that what sustains me will starve those whom I love
Fear of being unprepared
Fear of living
Fear of fear
